Report to:     Corporate IT Director

Location:                  Memphis, Tennessee

FLSA status:             Full Time Exempt

Description of the Position:

The System Administrator is responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing software, equipment/hardware, and networks. This position should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly, with a willingness to work on any technology issue. Patience to communicate with a variety of teams and users is key. The primary goal for this position will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain company IT infrastructure, including laptop, software, cloud space, servers, network, website, and ERP / WMS system, Manage user credentials.
  • Procure, renew, install, and configure software and hardware.
  • Manage back up of company data, both locally and in the cloud space, to ensure data security.
  • Set up accounts and workstations for end users locally and remote.
  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages both locally and remote.
  • Ensure cyber security through access controls, backups, and firewalls
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
  • Ensure users/colleagues receive prompt and professional service.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ Years as system administrator in an established company
  • Must be familiar with Cloud management
  • Must have Bachelor’s degree, Computer Science or related field is preferred.
  • Must be familiar with Office 365, AWS, MS SQL database, ERP system (SAP B1 preferred), and Windows and Linux systems. 
  • Programming capability with Java / WordPress is preferred but not required
  • Experience with setting up fire walls and other anti-spam / cyber security related tools
  • Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, and other Networking Certifications are a plus, but not required.
  • Must be willing to learn new technologies as the business grows and adopts them.
